• Direct-drive spindle is standard with speeds of 10,000 rpm
• The spindle runs in 4 high precision angular contact ball bearings assuring long term accuracy and maximum rigidity and stability.
• Designed with safety in mind. The front mounted magazine allows for vertical loading of tools, providing added safety for operator when loading and unloading workpiece.
• Rapid traverse rates on 3 axes are 48 m/min. Upon request, 60 m/min. is available to reduce non-cutting time.
• High speed ATC is driven by an advanced precision cam mechanism. Fast tool change can be accomplished in only 1.5 seconds (tool to tool) and 2.8 seconds (chip to chip). The magazine loading capacity 12 tools.
• Comprehensive chip removing design. The one-piece constructed base effectively avoids coolant leaking problems. tilting base construction combined with chip auger increases chip removing efficiency and coolant return speed, reducing coolant staying time in the machine.
• Three axes are equipped with high precision linear guide ways. Axes movements are transmitted by 25/25/36 ball screws, pre tensioned with low friction coefficient to provide fast movement, minimum noise and high position accuracy.
• Three ball screws are pre tensioned and supported by high precision angular contact ball bearings. Servomotor directly drives ball screw for backlash free performance and reducing power transmission loss to a minimum. This feature also results in outstanding rigidity and accuracy of structure.
• The Z-axis is counter-balance free, featuring smooth movement.
• The interior electric cabinet is an isolated design, which separates heat generated by the electric control. The front part of the electric cabinet employs a heat exchanger for dissipating heat and preventing external dusts from entering. The rear part employs a fan for dissipating heat from the hot board
• The swing control panel not only meets safety regulations but also allows for operational convenience.
• The table is fully supported throughout the entire travel without over-hang problems.
• Y-axis motor is mounted on back side of the machine for reducing machine thermal deformation problems.
• Rigid box type structural parts combined with extra wide span between slideways. Multiple slideways design provides extra uniform support and proper binding on all mating surfaces. This feature exhibits the best dynamic accuracy of cut.
